This being the third car for same owner to detail this one was the biggest (Previous a Fabia and a Yeti an both New car details). the previous two were treated to Swissvax but this time I was showcasing Dodo Juice. The owner loves to take care of his cars, in all honesty the LR was not heavy in swirls, very light with one area where the stratches were deeper.

Like my last thread, I have started to experiement with capturing the detail by video and if you would like to view it here it is:

A more in depth write up:

    How the car arrived:

I started by cleaning the alloys with Chemical Guys Diablo and using various brushing, the tyres were cleaned with Megs APC as was the arches an rinsed. Then engine bay was cleaned using Megs APC then blasted with PW, engine left running to dry then treated with Chemical Guys Silk Shine Trim Dressing. The car was then snowfoamed with Valet Pro snowfoam and rinsed, then washed with BTBM and a Yeti wash mitt and rinsed. Then the car was detarred with Tardis and clayed with Dodo Juice Gentle Grey and Dodo Juice Born Slippy (all in the video). The vehicle was then washed again with BTBM and dried using Dodo Juice Time to Dry and a Dodo Juice Supernatural Drying Towel.

It was then moved inside for the corrction stage, some paint depths were taken:

and inspection of the swirls, they were not "that" bad:

For this correction i opted only to use Dodo Juice Lime Prime and various of different pads (cut level) and achieved this level of correction:

    This continued throughout the vehicle:

As mentioned earlier in the thread there was an area of deep scratching on the front wing:

It was decided to wetsand this area to remove the defect:

The the car was moved outside to correct the roof, being very careful thinking about the safety aspect:

before the car was moved back inside the arches were dressed with Chemical Guys BareBones:
