Ok, these are the same as my Mercury Pro by Kwazar, they are not the fancy colors or transparent bottles. But they have them 17 or 33 oz. 8-9.00 per bottle. check it out. Kwazar Mercury Spray Bottle 0.5 liter (17oz) - eBay (item 220678561844 end time Feb-01-11 10:04:03 PST)
Amazon has em too.. Amazon.com: Kwazar Mercury Garden 1.0 liter (33oz) Trigger Spray Bottle: Kitchen & Dining
Correct me if I'm wrong here but I think the mercury pro+ are the ones with the viton chemical resistant seals, so the bottles in the second link in this post would not have viton seals?
Thats correct. Only the pro+ has viton seals but before you buy them you have to ask yourself. Do you really need a viton seal for the type of chemical you are spraying? Unless you are using a very harsh wheel acid I dont see the necessity in having viton seals. With that being said, with all of my chemicals, including wheel cleaners, I only use the regular sprayers and have yet to have one fail over several years. The only exception is with Megs WB. I use the gray chemical resistant sprayers and they still fail.
if you are spraying acid, right after you are done take the spray head out and stick it in the rinse bucket and pump water through it about 25 times and the sprayer should last a very long time.
^^^^ +1 unless you are spraying Muratic acid or something of the like, Viton seals are overkill. I have abottle of Pro car water spot remover and its sprays fine out of the cheapy bottle I have it in. 3.00 versus 16.00. I would have to replace the cheapy bottle 5 times before I start loosing money verus a Kwazar pro..... (great product, but overkill if you ask me)
ehh..... with shipping it's still about $13.50.... I can just buy these from DD or AG along with some other stuff at once since you have to pay shipping anyways....
Just remember that the seals are chemical resistant and not chemical proof. If the chemical is harsh enough, it'll eat through the Viton seal.
