...and I am really not all that impressed. The red color of the paint seems to be a little more intense - redder if that makes any sense. But other than that I don't think it looks any better than Werkstat Prime Strong + Acrylic Jet Trigger. I washed with Dawn applies Z-AIO let it dry buffed off and then applied Z-6. I read on another forum (Autopia?) where one guy said he mixes Z-2 & Z-5 so I thought I'd try that. One once Z-5 oner ounce Z-2 8 drops of ZFX. Applied to paint let dry for about 20 minutes wiped off applied Z-6 again. Applied a second coat of Z-5/Z-2/ZFX and another application of Z-6. Followed with Z-8. And what I'm left with is a shine that isn't any better than what I had before. Oh well... That Leather in A Bottle stuff didn't impress me much either. The smell is nice but how long is that gonna last? It didn't change the look of any of the vinyl I applied it to at all. I don't want my dash to glow in the dark but a subdued luster would have been nice. Perfect Tire Gloss I really liked. After being washed my tires were very dry and old looking. Perfect Tire Gloss made them look new again. I didn't think I would like it because it wasn't a high shine look like Meguiars Endurance Spray but I was very impressed. I also really liked Z-6. No streaking you only need a very small amount and it smells really nice too. The only thing that impressed me about Z-8 was the fantastic smell I haven't tried the shampoo yet.
Zaino will wear you the f*ck out. It was a fine product years ago, but so many other great products have come along that make Zaino obsolete. I do agree that their tire shine and leather products are fantastic.
z2 is a great wheel sealant, and the shampoo is very gentle, probably as good if not better then Adams..... leather cleaner, glass polish work very well, but you are right many of their products are obsolete
I just went out and tried the Z-8 again and it worked a LOT better this times. Made the paint noticeably smoother. I'm not sure why it didn't do any thing the first time. So the tally so far: Z-2 - Not impressed will NOT be buying again Z-5 - Not impressed will NOT be buying again Z-10 (LIAB) - Not impressed will Not be buying again. The smell lasted one day Z-16 (PTG) Great product ! Z-6 - Great QD. It didn't add to the gloss as far as I could tell but I will definitely be buying more of this stuff Z-8 - Very nice spray sealant. Makes the paint noticeably smoother. Didn't add to the gloss as far as I could tell. Will be buying again Z-7 (shampoo) haven't tried yet. Smells nice though. Z-AIO - NOT impressed. I like Werkstat Prime Strong about 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 times better than this stuff. I don't remember Prime Strong leaving behind any where nearly as much dust as Z-AIO ZFX - Once this is gone I won't be buying any more. I'll just go old school and apply one layer a day of Z-5 or Z-2 until they're gone
Z-AIO made my wheels look pretty nice. I really don't think I'll be using it on my paint again though. I agree Z-2 & Z-5 are obsolete.
Zaino wil only wear you out if you let it. You don't have to use ZFX (especially if you use Z-AIO) and you don't have to apply three coats in one day.
I haven't used the Zaino sealants for about 2-3 years now except for ClearSeal as a wheel sealant. BF and MPL are so much easier. Even WG DGS. Zaino is supposed to be coming out with some ultra durable coating soon. Wonder if that will put them back on top.
Has anyone noticed Zaino looking better a day after it has been applied?: It didn't look all that great after it was applied but the next day my SUV seemed to have a more candy-coated look with out losing the wax look.
I notice that with most LSP's. They always seem to look better the next day. It may be in part that my eyes get a break from it and then see it again.
The shampoo didn't exactly knock me for a loop either. The smell is nice but it's WaY too weak. It makes a lot of suds but they don't last for %$#*. I wasn't even half way done before the suds were gone. It doesn't feel any more slippery than CG Glossworkz Mega Suds or Optimum Car Soap or Poor Boys Super Slick & Suds. It's not a bad shampoo it just isn't as great as I was expecting.
ive had it all...... zaino, CG soaps, megs soaps, Adams, majestic solutions, and thus far for two bucket washing, it is my favorite, however Adams is my favorite slightly edging out optimum for running through my foam cannon, or foam gun. the only two I own now are Adams, and Optimum... remember suds are a feature, not necessarily a benefit unless you are foaming a car........ I have taken a bucket of clear water, added 1-2 oz of Adams and gently stirred it up to create minimal sudsing and it still performed perfectly. Chemical guys maxi suds, or Citrus daily makes a boat load of foam, but the lubricity is nowhere near adams, even without the suds. I use CG citrus as a carrier for when im foaming, say to decon or strip a car, ill mix it with zeps, but if im correcting or claying a car I just use dawn.
I know I just like suds I've been meaning to try Adams maybe I'll order that next time. I like suds but I like the idea of a slippery shampoo a lot more.
Adams gives you both, im not saying I don't like suds either LOL........... Im the first to bukakae my car with a foam gun.
