Hello everyone, while I was working for Auto Concierge here in Houston I have decided to venture on my own(iWaxAutoDetail) and open a shop. With the help of a client, today I signed on a 495Sq. Ft. Studio! It's new construction with A/C and should be complete towards the end of July. Here are a few pictures and would like some lighting advice options that I don't have to drill to the wall plus decorating ideas....

I will have this as well outside of mine...

Cheap...but this is a trial period for me and if it works, may look towards purchasing a unit.

that's really the perfect size. I wish we had small units like that over here . . . . . i would be all over it. I'm looking to possibly try something out as well but units here are big and rent is redonculous LoL. I like the idea of having a controlled enviorment.

Are they all on the walls? It looks like it from the pics. In all honesty, I would hang some from the ceiling as well. I've had a shop where my lights were were othe walls and it was ok. Just wish I had more above the car as well. Those fixtures are cheap and easy to install. 16 bulbs will give you 16 lineal feet of light on each wall. At the very least, run the lights down the length of each wall. If you can't hang more from the ceiling, you could swap out those fixtures four 4 or 6 tube boxes as well. Other than that, anything is going to be portable like halogens or an LED equivalent.

I use the daylight bulbs in mine. They give off better light for polishing and put out much better light.
