Well this car was brand new with only 235 miles on it when I got it. The story behind it is it belongs to a high school senior here. For Christmas all she told her Mom she wanted was for me to detail her 07 Accord. Well I did and she has been phenomenal advertising for me. She brought me my very best client by the way. Well she got this car because she wanted a 4 door and at the dealership they wanted to sell her the paint sealant stuff and detail it for her and her Mom told me she told them "No thats OK I have a 'guy' ". Now to me that was the ultimate compliment. Well needless to say I was going to take extremely good care of her and I do a lot of extras for her. The car's paint was surprisingly in really great shape, just a few minor scratches and scuffs. Well here's what I did: Tires/Wheels: The wheels got CGs Citrus Wheel cleaner and I decided to use my foam finger pockets that I never use to see how they did cleaning the wheels and they did great. This coupled with my Griots wheel scrub for the back barrels did a great job. I used my Swissvax wheel brush for lug nut areas. Tires got cleaned with MS Super Green Stuff and a black wheel Shmitt and the wells got the exact same treatment. Tires were dressed with a base coat of MS Super Dress All and a top coat of CGs VRP. Both were applied with CGs Tire Applicators. The wells were dressed with CGs Bare Bones. I decided to coat the wheels with some ZFX'd Zaino Z5 Pro. Man did they shine when I did that! The tailpipe got P21s polishing soap. Engine: The engine got the old faithful of rinse, spray down with MS SGS, agitate, rinse, dry with leaf blower, and dress with Stoners Trim Shine. Wash: I used my CR Spotless System (I couldn't detail without this now) and my foam cannon (wouldn't know how to detail without this either) and a rinse bucket. I used CGs CWG and a grout sponge. All the lower panels were pretreated with MS SGS and bugs got MS Bug Off and a MS bug sponge. Rinsed with the CR Spotless and let it air dry while I cleaned the rubber floor mats. Man its nice to let Mother Nature dry the car and not worry about water spots and on black no less! It was about 95 degrees that day and it dried in almost no time. By the time I finished the mats there were only about 10 drops of water left on the entire car, so I wiped those off with a CGs Miracle Dry MF. Clay: I used the good stuff with DP 4n1 as a clay lube in a hand held pressurized sprayer. Then I rinsed again with the CR. I've done about 20 cars so far and my TDS meter is still reading 000 ppm. Of course my TDS reading of my water right out of the tap is only 107 which is really low. Glass: All glass inside and out got CGs Glass Cleaner with a Black Magic Glass MF and dried off with a Walmart WW. Interior: The entire interior was wiped down with 1z Cockpit Premium. I do love this stuff as it cleans well and leaves behind a new clean look. The leather seats were conditioned with Wolfgang Leather Conditioner. Shop vac was used to vacuum everything. Man I love doing the interiors on a new car! My interior after pics sucked though. Not sure if its because I took the afters in the garage before I pulled it back out into the sun.:shead: Paint: Since the paint was in such good shape I decided to go full Zaino and start with ZAIO. I used the Metabo and a black LC CCS 5" finishing pad. I buffed it off with a CGs black and yellow MF. Then I did a Z6 wipedown with a Cookie Monster MF. Man the car looked really great after just this but now on to the really good stuff. LSP: I decided to get the chemistry set out and ZFX some Zaino Z5 Pro. I applied the first coat with a 4" blue LC CCS pad and a Polishing Pal. I buffed it off with a CGs yellow and black and did another wipedown with Z6. Next another coat of Z5 Pro was applied the same way and buffed off the same way. After about an hour after buffing off the 2nd coat of Z5 Pro I did a wipe down with Z8. It is amazing the wow factor that Z8 gives to the paint. I really love the way the car came out and it was super super slick. I have really gotten to love Zaino as the products are very easy to work with and the look and feel is phenomenal. Well I took the car back to her at work and she was really thrilled. Her Mom told me the next day that her daughter called her after I dropped the car off to her and said "Mom, you have to come by here and see how good the car looks!" Again that made my day! Well here are the pics: Before and Afters: Random and Reflection shots:
Great work man as always, man your really falling in love with that zaino!!! I want to see some more supernatural pics lol as my tub should be here any day now. Again great work bud, -Corey

what can I say.... another top shelf job from JL's Detailing!!! From a honda lover you really did it justice.. top notch and I told you it would feel great to be reffered to as "my guy" Great stuff!!
Mate oh mate, that looks stunning! Even in the befores it looks fantastic, then you step it up a notch in the afters!!!
Funny you should say that Corey as my plan was to do SN on the car but she said she really wanted what was on my Jeep so she got Zaino and I must say it turned out really well. But yeah as much as I never thought I would say this ...Zaino is some great stuff! Thanks Ken that means a lot. And you are so right I just love doing this and really love doing it for folks that I know really appreciate the hard work that went into making their car look like that. You are so right bro. And how funny that it was just a few days after we talked about that that she said it! I thought you would like the Honda and I must say it is a very nice car. Thanks Piet it was a joy to work on something that wasn't just hammered from neglect like I usually get. Thanks Phil for the compliments and a huge huge Thanks for helping me out with my Metabo, 3M backing plate, and CR system purchases. I don't know what I would do without those.:thumb: Thanks bro the only thing that would have made that black any more stunning would have been a Steeler sticker in the back window! Thanks richy and yeah I think so. Jason and I had been talking about how that was really a great compliment from a client and then a few days later she says it. Thanks man. I thought the same thing about the wheels when I first saw them but man I really got to liking them the more I looked at them.
Honda did great with this Accord. You made the car look great nice job:thumb:. Highschool girls are always great for business
