Thanks in advance for looking! Here we have a Jaguar XFR in metallic black color. New regular customer that I have been doing some regular washes for but it was time to get the paint up a few notches. The car is very well taken care of so there wasn't any crazy prep needed to get the car clean and ready for polishing. If your wondering why the pictures are from two different locations it's because the car was prepped one day at the customers house and then I did the actual polishing at his work 2 days later. Car was still pretty clean just needed to do a quick ONR wipedown at his office. Process for this vehicle was: Wash - ONR Wheels - Sonax Tires/wheel wells - OPC dilution Front grill and plastic honeycomb grilles - OPC and swissvax brush Clay - Meguiar's Pro Blue clay/ONR clay lube dilution Paint correction - GG DA/Meguiar's D300/Cutting disc Polish - GG DA/Meguiar's 205/Green Uber IPA LSP - Collinite 845 Glass - Wolf's Glass Guard Wheels - Wolf's Rim Shield Tires - Optimum Opti-bond Pictures: How the car looked when I arrived Washed down, better idea of what I was working with Deeper scratch on the reap passenger pillar Same scratch Afters: Area of rear pillar with random scratch removed Outside sun shots: Questions or comments! Thanks again!
wow, that looks really really good man! I'd be scared to polish after just a wipe down, also kinda odd you used M105 compound to finish down with, but you pulled it off it looks like! great work!
That is nasty in such a good way! I knew when I seen all the flake in the before, that this car was going to be beautiful in the after!
Thanks Franki Thanks. Same here...both are very good products! I've been using it for so long, I kind of judge it by eye depending on the need. For the wheel wells and tires it was probably around 5:1, water:OPC Thanks! In person it was pretty wild looking! Thanks...very good looking car, pretty good power as well! Thanks!
