Is the Metro blow/vac loud?

For anyone that has used it how does it compare to a shop vac or leaf blower?

A quiet operation is important to me (my neighbors will think I'm less crazy).

 

I find the metro reasonably quiet. It is quieter than some shop vacs and definitely quieter than a leaf blower but you can tell it is a vacuum so it can heard.

 

I have the double Motor Master Blaster. It is quieter than the 75MPH leaf blower I used previously and easier to use. If you purchase the double motor unit, you will need a 15 AMP circut. I needed a electrician to fix up te power in the garage to accomodate this new toy when I got it-LOL

 

Incredibly quiet for what it is. My vacuum is quiet and this is quieter.

 

It's reasonably quiet, if you keep in mind that most of the time it will be used in a garage with hard walls, and no carpet absorbing any of the sounds, so it may sound louder to you than it actually is. It is much quieter than a leaf blower lol. And it's a hell of a lot quieter than the Master Blaster. I would imagine it's the same as a household carpet vacuum.
