Never used this product before,I have a detail on friday that i will use this product on what is the proper application of this product? thanks guys:applause2:
On the back of the bottle, there is an area called INSTRUCTIONS! LOL If you follow them, you'll be fine.
spray on car, wait till magic happens and you start seeing unicorns...or just purple stuff. Rinse off before it has time to dry. Good day.
Is this (spray on/wait/rinse) correct? The carpro website (Iron X) says: How to Use 1. Wash the car or wheels surfaces, make sure surface is in cool temp. 2. Shake well, spray on the surface, rub it in with damp sponge thoroughly, wait 5 min. while contaminants change its color to purple/red, wipe off with damp soft sponge. IronX can be dried on surface but not under sunshine!! 3. Rinse well or power wash the whole surface. Car is ready to clay now. Are the sponge steps really necessary?
Well just wanted to get some input on the way to use the product....sounds like not hard to use,,,by the way its pearl white in color..plan on a 2 stage correction on the paint also...thanks for the information guys...
I have used it 2 ways. 1 wash the vehicle, rinse, spray Iron X while wet let it do its thing then rewash. 2 spray Iron X onto a dry a car before washing wait and let it do its thing then wash as normal
I have washed, applied, let soak and pressure washed off and I have washed, applied, let soak and rewashed. Works well either way.
So no need to rub in with damp sponge or wipe off? Just wash, apply and rinse off (or apply and then wash as normal)?
I have rinsed with a hose or pressure washer and both seem to rinse the Iron X off cleanly. I believe it says to wipe down with a damp towel to possibly remove stubborn deposits.
Thanks for the info. Is Iron X the same as Iron Cut (http://www.detailersdomain.com/Aquartz-Iron-Cut_p_327.html)?
