I had a client drop off a company van for de-decaling (500 individulal letters ) before it was returned at the end of the lease. After washing and decal removal, it was apparent that the vehicle was absolutely covered in contamination including rail dust, brake dust and industrial fallout. I'm sure a MF towel would have stuck to the side of this truck. I had some time to kill and a shelf full of IronX so I thought this would be a good test......

The Iron X removed pretty much all of the contamination. Smell still makes me gag but it's the mutts nuts when it comes to cleaning the paint. It would have taken a couple hours to do this with clay.

I concur Ken, did a Toyota Rav4(I know hard to believe) and it took off ALOT of crap, clayed after and there was not much on the clay and the finish felt like sandpaper before.

Awesome pics of Iron X in action.

I have done a couple of new car preps that only needed a good iron x application and they were good to go. If the stealership doesn't "prep" them with a rotary, Iron X and a light polish are the only two things you will need.

On the other hand, my new-to-me Maxima has never been clayed (or detailed) in 11 years. I applied Iron X a few weeks ago and it didn't pick up any iron particles. I found it hard to believe, but it all depends were you live. IMO, NYC and Midwest cars have the worst contamination ever.

Awesome shots of it in action! I just need a client to bring me a car in a rough enough shape to use it on! lol. Worst car I've had so far took me 35 minutes to clay...with fine clay (I was out of the more aggressive one :()

Ironx performed awesome only friends 20+ yr old bimmer with single stage paint. Too bad I didnt get any to ship to hong kong cuz I couldn't imagine how smelly all my stuff will become after a few weeks of ocean freighting in a container.

impressive pics Ken. I am surprised the whole van had so much decontamination. This means they didn't decontaminate the areas that had the decals on top of them.

I just used the retail bottle / trigger. A pump sprayer would have been better for a finer, more even coverage.
