interior products

I'm looking for someone to recommend me a cleaner for interiors, trim and plastic. Also a protector, with a nice finish to it...... thanks in advanced

 

I've always had great results using Autoglym interior cleaner/shampoo. Been using it since 1995. Spray on, let dwell, scrub with soft hair bristle brush, then wipe clean with mf towel. Whatever you clean actually looks clean when dry. The products doesn't leave the carpets or fabric sticky or tacky. No harsh chemical smell either.

i just got some einszett cockpit premium (from phil at detailersdomain.com) great stuff it has a nice citrus smell and leaves a nice matte finish. it cleans and has uv ray protection.

 

Ken @ Autowerkz deals with and likes Autoglym very much. In fact I'm not sure if his sale is over but he had Poorboys and Autoglym products on sale. Check him out.

 

1Z deep plastic cleaner and 1Z cockpit premium are both really good products.

 

I use 10:1 mix of Megs APC if its really dirty and then dress with 1z CockPit, if not dirty but just dusty then I just use 1z CockPit.

 

the 1Z cockpit and deep cleaner seem good, since temperatures here get over 100° and causes everything to evaporate before you can get to it. I also noticed moemistry and dadswrld mention autoglym, did a search on it and found a gallon from tcpglobal, wonder if that works for trim. thanks you all for your support.

 

Don't look any further than 1Z products, they are the best...

 

I'm not a fan of the matte finish ... I protect everything with 303 and then I buff it with a mf. I know I'm gonna get a lot of heat for saying this, but if the plastic is really dirty I use the Armor All cleaning wipes ... haven't had an issue with them at all ...:fs:

 

I agree with Moe. I've been using AG since 93 and their interior shampoo is great. Strong enough to use with an extractor for carpets and mild enough for your weekly cleaning. VERY slight scent and doesn't leave any sticky residue.

I bought one and I'm glad I did.

 

Megs #40 for all my plastic rubber and vinyl dressing on my interiors... cleaning with various brushes and opc at 7:1.....

The AG Hi-tech cleaning pad is really a good and durable tool. Try rubbing it against your hand and you realised how gentle it is. Used with interior shampoo when it is dry will create foam fast. I have been 'abusing' it for more than 100 + cars and it still serving me well except it is a little out of shape due to excessive wiring.

wow, that is CHEAP! Have you ever bought anything from them before?

 

never bought from them, but the guy I spoke to was pretty knowledgeable, though I did catch him reading on certain items, but that's ok.
