I was browsing the net, minding my own business. I saw this quote in reference to the new 205 "Its the real deal..Best polish ever made...Bar none" That quote was from someone affiliated with Meguiars for what thats worth..I guess the "hype" has begun! Are you going to try it?
If you ever want to see 'classic' hype from Megs see MikeP posts (Autopia) and MOL with regard to NXT
When I get mine I'll hook you up buddy. I'm not a one manafacturer guy if there's something better out there i'll give it a try.Why not?
Wow, What a guy!!! Thanks Bro...You're falling into line with some of the great givers. Here @ Detailing Bliss...:worship2:
105 ain't bad , gave some a go that my friend had bought. I only have megs G220 orbital, thats all I will use of their range
we saw 3 new polishes at a UK Megs day this weekend - samples fresh over from the US 1. Ultimate Compound - retail OTC product for hand or DA use. VERY impressive by hand on a VW bonnet and worked better than #83 in 1 hit with a DA (no chance to use an IPA wioe to check for filling but we told there was none...) 2. Swirl X - another retail OTC product that is less aggessive than UC, for use by hand or DA and it struggled by hand and DA on the VW paint... 3. Scratch X 2.0 - updated version All use the new micro abrasives which are non-dimininshing and were a joy to use. If 205 is anything like these (and we were told it will kill #80/#83) will be a superb product as predicted. For now, assuming there was no filling, the new Ultimate Compound will be a great product We were told these had just hit the US warehouse last Friday, and the samples were brought over by a marketing person on Saturday.
I have heard that it too will start knocking down the #80 series (83 etc....) I wanted to buy some 151 from ADS, but cannot find it on their site anymore.
going to start getting gallons coming to my door soon. Go big or go home With the exception of NXT, not that many Megs products have failed to impress me. M95 is a pretty good product, but it isn't really as nice as M105 IMO, so that might be kind of a let down too. Solo is super under rated as well. I hope these products don't let me down!
Thanks, I just seen that, but since I detail for a living, sample sizes are a thing of the past. I need a gallon at least. They must be short on supply. I think Meguiars has them direct on their site, but they are more and I will have to pay shipping for 2 places
