I bought some M105 last year near the end of the summer.. I loved the cut and short work time BUT if you worked it for one second longer than you should it would turn to concrete. It also had some intermittent little pebbles of abrasives that I would actually have to pick out once on the pad or it would leave bad marks (kind of like pig tails).

I just bought another bottle of the old fomula because even though the above items I thought were just how the product was, I learned to use it... BUT to my surprise this new bottle I just got of the old formula had no little pebble abrasives, much better work time, it did not turn to concrete but just melted into the paint and still had the the great cut... I think I got a bad batch at first??

I love this stuff! It really saved my ass on a rock hard M5 I worked on this weekend! I am now going to go to my local supplier and buy all the old formula M105 he has on his shelf since it will all be gone soon!

I've been using some (the old version) for the first time this weekend. It kicks arse! This F250 is absolutely hammered, and 105 is making really short work of it. It feels like I'm cheating.

The first bottle I went through did not look like you described so I went and checked the other bottles I have and none of them are like that either. You might have gotten a bad bottle after all by the sounds of it. M105 does make life alot easier without a doubt.

Is there anywhere to buy the old formula online?

Dang, that's too bad you got stuck with a bad batch the first time around.

Some vendors still have V1...but once it's gone - it's gone

    No kidding...

Look on the back of the bottle, it has the ways the products can be used, if it says "DA" it is the new - if it only says by hand and rotary it is the old

Yeah, I def got a bad batch... the two bottles seem like TOTALLY different products and like I said, they are both the old version....

I've got the old version and it is great. I used it on a couple of black Caddy hearses that were tough and it did a great job on them. So the new version does not have quite as much cut, then? That's a shame if that's the case...

Hey Rich: The two bottles I have been comparing in this thread are both the old version, I just think I got a bad batch on my 1st bottle.

BUT to your question, the new version has less cut and longer work time.. I am going to buy up all of the old version I can find locally... if you love it as much as I do you should stock up b 4 it dissapears for good

I wonder who sells the old formula locally or even regionally with a decent shipping price?

Will the new version have more cut than Menzerna PowerGlos?
