I was invited out to the Southamptons, NY to do my customer's collection or at least most of it.

We got there a little after 9am and finished at about 7pm. Long day not including the 2 hour drive one way, but this was well worth it!:agree:

All cars were full exterior and full interior. These cars were pretty much in perfect condition except for the Cobra and the Jag XK150 (his daily when he out in Southamptons)

55 Corvette
Jaguar XK120
Jaguar XK150

Sorry we were so busy we really didn't take many pictures.

55 Vette:
Wash with P21S Bodyworks Shampoo
Wheels with P21S Wheel Cleaner gel
Tires cleaned up iwht P21S Autowash
Tires dressed with Adam's VRT
Undercarriage cleaned up with Adam's Undercarriage Spray
Swissvax Paint Rubber to get rid of the contaminants
Swissvax Cleaner Fluid
Swissvax Mystery for the final step

Customer was concerned about the interior.
Vacuumed
Leather Master Strong Cleaner
Leather Master Vital
Interior wiped down with Einszett Cockpit

Windows cleaned with Adam's glass cleaner
Windows polished with Einszett Glas Polish

All metal polished up with Adam's Metal 1 and 2
Wheels polished up as well with Adam's Metal 1 and 2.

Pretty much the same process as the Vette plus some polishing done with Menzerna 106FA

yes it was a great opportunity, funny mystery is a bit easier to apply then Concorso/BOS.

i really like that 55 vette, i was at an auction once where a 53 (year 1) sold for like 400k.

I also love the old jags, when i have the money i plan on having a few . ok so that s afew years down the road lol.

Your the second person to say that, interesting...hey can you get refils for Mystery? Rumor has it that if you purhcase it x amount will get you a refil? Is that true?
Don't mean to put you on the spot buddy but just curious if it's a touchy situation you can ignore the question.

 

nope can't get refills of Mystery at least in the states

I love the fact that you didnt use a high gloss tire shine and instead just showed a clean black tire.

tire shine on old cars is really iffy. I think they look better with the matte tire personally.

 

Fantastic thread! I love the arcitecture on the garage to, suits the cars really nice.

Great work on all cars, the Corvette's interior looks like new.

I love the Jags.. Great cars, allways been.
