I went to Disneyland

    And shot fireworks for the first time, all shots were handheld, lens used was Nikon 70-300 4.5-5.6 VR

    If you have plans to shoot the fireworks at night, get a good spot early (Fireworks start between 9:30 to 10:00), you want to get a good spot by like, 8 or so, lol.
    Oh and bring a tripod and time the fireworks, or you can handheld it like me, lol.

    What settings did you use? All of them look pretty good save for the last one, the noise starts to turn the night sky purple it seems.
    #3 is my favorite though

    manual mode, 1/100 exposure, f/5.6, 2/3 exposure biase, ISO @ 3200.
    I had to crank up the ISO and shoot @ a faster shutter speed to compensate for,
    1. my wobbly hands (Although VR helps a lot)
    2. the slow 4.5-5.6 glass.

    The body used was a D7000 (Which is why I was comfortable pushing ISO3200, lol)
