What does everybody use? Recommend as my first pressure washer, doing about 10 cars a week. I really like this one http://www.detailersdomain.com/Kranzle-K-1120T-Cold-Water-Electric-Pressure-Washer_p_446.html but not sure why it cost so much over say, this one 2,700 psi 2.3 GPM Honda Engine Gas Pressure Washer - Special Buy (Compare at $399)-UT80993 at The Home Depot .
One is gas, the other is electric. With that consider where you will use the unit. Do you want quieter operation? Indoor use? Stick with electric. I get the feeling 2700PSI will be way too much for car cleaning. For stripping paint from a deck, yeah; but I would be cautious with the gas unit. Many cheap electric units (around $120) will often break due to crappy build.
I see, I prefer the electric due to the noise level it will produce. Anyone have experience with the Kranzle, anything better for the price or less?
I bought a 1.5gpm 1800 psi unit from karcher a while ago for around $100 and for washing cars it does fine. More pressure would be too much in my opinion unless you plan on using it for other tasks.
This is my set up http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/washing-claying-engine-wheels-tires/28843-purchased-k-5-85-m-foam.htm
I have the Camspray unit that Phil used to sell . The Kranzle Unit is a great unit aswell. As far as Why it costs so much. Simply put . You get what you pay for. It will be the last Pressure washer you will ever need to Buy.
