So last week my dad had a meeting north of edmonton, i think the drive was about 400km each way, took over 4 hours to drive. I had washed the car previous but this trip had ended that. So basicly the car was drive 800km, about 20 oof them where on a dirt fied to an oil plant. The car had seen rain, dirt, and basic road gunk. it had a nice thick film of dust on it. The car actully looked grey not black. So I cracked ou the ONR, i really did not feel like doing a full wash. So i did as recomeneded, a good mix of solution, start at the top down, using a wool mitt I lighley removed the dirt. I then dried, nothing on the WW towels. I was really worried about marring. I have done some back cars, with bad spots but never a blkac car with this much dust on it (In the 2 gallons i have gone through this was the big test). If it was this dirty i would just wash it, not this time. There was no marring no scratches nothing, the car turned out awsome. Sorry i dont have any pics. Im at the folks place for dinner so I dont have my camera, but im sure you can estimate the amout of crud on the paint. So for those aprehensive about ONR dont be, this stuff is awsome, truly lives up to its reputation.... ok back to homework.. i needed that little break ohh yeah I washed and dried the whole car (buick park avaue) in less then 25 minutes
I see it's on sale at eshine right now. How long will a 32 oz bottle last? How much do you use for 1 wash? How does it compare to AG'S DP 4-in-1? Sorry for all the questions..just trying to do my research.
I love questions so keep em comming 1. 32 ozs will last a while, i get about 16 washes out of it 2. I use about 2 oz a wash, I use 2-3 gallons per wash depending on the cars size and hbow dirty it is. you use 1oz per gallon so it all depends on how much water you use 3. I like it better then dps offering. I have both but dont ever seem to reach for DP. I dont find its as slick or offers the same evel of protection. Having said that its still a good product, lots of people loveit, its just not for me Also I use it as a qd, i mix some up in a bottle (according to the directions) and its awsome as a clay lube, its cheaper then a regulat qd and does a great job i would say giveit a shot, esp if its on sale.
Man e-shine is having a wicked sale, good thing because I need lots more of the Amazing Roll-Off. This stuff is wicked, I wish I could get it in a Large pale or something like that....mmmm. As for the ONR, I need to use it some more to get more familiar with it. I'm sure my wish is goign to come true come winter hahahaha. Great info there Calgary, thank you for sharing.
ONR and ARO both come in gallon sizes. I think you can get the 32oz size at CT, but I'd rather order from Chris.
ONR and ARO are at Canadian Tire really? Where? I need some ARO for tomorrow, I'm all out I've ordere a gallon of ARO from Chris
yeah it really worked well then, they sure where happy that we could go there and do it. A def. plus for onr. I tottaly forgot about that edit: so i was bored, went out to wash my car with onr, i did it on the street in less then 10 minutes, which f you ask me is fast, the car had a week or so of dirt and dust, it all came off with no marring ohh and i cracked a new gallon of ONR, i guees its the new forumula, this stuff works even better. I dont like the smell as much but w.e. It does and awsome job. I was very impressed. Sorry no pics again, i need to dig out my camera
Calgary, your like the oposite of me when it comes to having a camera. I really like using ONR. since I cleared my garage a couple of months ago I have taken the cars in there a few times and washed them with ONR ,will definitely be using it during coming winter. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-744800996428313622
