I hated my Zymol Concours because it was too difficult to remove, so I finally sold the jar after only a couple of uses. Is Swissvax Concorso easier to apply/remove? Is that the best wax from SV for the money?? Thanks!
How long did you leave it for? I know some people leave it for extended amounts of time, like overnight. And it was easy to remove. I hate my zymol titanium because of the stupid hand application, im guna use an applicator now.
I found my Z to be easy to remove, if you did it after 60 seconds. Anyways, yes..SV concorso is mutch more easy to work with. You can leave it on for 10 min and it will be still easy to remove. Its a great wax
I can relate and understand your frustration autobahnshine, one thing about Zymol products is that you have to know and follow the process down to the "T" no dviating if you do it will be a pain to work with. I too made the mistake of applying Concours on the entire vehicle and left it on for a few minuets and boy was I cursing lol...Vintage has been the only one that I've found that you can leave for quite a bit of time on and you wont have a problem with...mind you I haven't used the entire line up of wax's that Zymol offers just a few but out of all of them Vintage is the only one I've found so far to remove easy over night. As for Swissvax Concorso, sorry I can't comment as I haven't used it but that will be changing very soon
Z Concourse was easy to remove for me. You cant let it dry. But to answer your question, SW IS easier to apply/remove
I disagree, I thought Concorso was more difficult to remove than say, Natty's Blue or Souveran. I let it dry 15 minutes+.
i thought concorso was only supposed to dry for 10? I usually apply to the whole car get a drink and then remove.
I'm the same, just used it twice this week and thought it was very easy to remove. Oh, looks great on a black car!
concorso ftmfw! when applied by foam pad? easiest product to remove...b/c you put a very thin even layer on by pad. use your bare hands sure but it'll be harder to remove. it doesnt matter either way the stuff looks nuts!
I applied it thinly. I'll post pics tonight. I have a side by side with Zaino Z-5pro coming up. I have 2 identical Imola Red BMW's booked and have been commissioned to complete one with Z-5pro and the other with Concorso. I'm positive I can give you the end result now. Lets just hope Concorso has some durability.
When using Zymol Concours you apply a small section at a time, not the whole car at a time, and the longest you should wait to take the wax off is 60 seconds. Then 3-4 hours later go over the car with cold distilled water or Zymol field glaze, it will look great. So remember, a section at a time and don't wait too long to remove the wax. Hope this helps
