Everyone MUST get some 1Z perls shampoo!!!!!!

I got some in yesterday from Phil@DD, washed the M3....WOW!:applause2:

this stuff is the best shampoo I've ever used!

extremely slick, suds just enough. Not too much but it does sud up. I will probably use this stuff from now on for my maintenance shampoo..oh yeah and it made the water bead up tighter after the final rinse I know it says on the label it adds depth and protection AND I BELIEVE IT!!!! EVERYONE ORDER SOME NOW FROM PHIL!!!!!

Pearlz is awesome! I use it on my wife's car and it has never stopped beading, it looks like it adds a layer of gloss each time you use it. Also, you can let it dry on the paint, hit it with a hose, and it washes clear off with no residue, very user friendly.

Suds aren't the best, but then again, sud's mean nothing.

    Better than the Duragloss soap?

ampbmw, what other soaps have you used in the past? I have been contemplating trying the Perls. I have used a few different one's from Meg's, poorboys, simoniz, fk1, and a couple others.

Try CWG as well, gotta love that stuff. I just got a 16oz size of Citrus Wash and Clear, can't wait to use that with my foam cannon.

1Z perls is a terrific shampoo, it does give extra gloss, depth and some protection, however it has a chemical smell and I find Driven to Perfection Protective sealant wash and Driven Quick spray mixed 70/30 to be even better as it does not remove any slickness from the paint at all, doesn't make the trims go spotty and best of all, has lots of protection from the quick spray and the wash

    Prima Mystique is my #2

However I don't wet wash much anymore, I switched to Style Magic fruit and vegetable based aussie made waterwise wash recently for cleaning most of my car

The wheel arches, wheels, tyres and bottom of doors get done with mystique or driven

How do these shampoos stack up vs ONR? Phil set me up with a gallon of ONR about six months ago and I've been sold on it.

The best I can determine is that the dirt gets trapped in the water beads and half removed by the pad (Schmitt in my case) and half by your MF drying towel. Real amazing item.

I have a single stage black paint and after I do a final perfection cut I'll be watching like a hawk for wash-introduced swirls. But I take it real easy on the wash, using only the weight of the mitt to remove the dirt. In my case, it's usually just "rait dirt".

I really like the concept of ORN and don't really like getting out the hose and I've yet to invest in any type of foam cannon. Although they look cool, I'm more after results.

1z Perls behaves more like ONR. It is low suds and rinses nicely so drying seems easier. It leaves behind a nice shine.

I haven't tried the 1Z shampoo yet as I have been using ONR alot. I have been pleased with all of the 1z products I have tried though so I'll have to give it a shot. Wonder if DD has it by the gallon.

yeah man, I just washed it again tonight...even more depth. I am so amazed by this product...kinda the way I felt when I first used menzerna polishes and swissvax waxes!

haven't used it but its more of a "really sudsy" soap right? (the kind that leaves behind a slight film felt by the fingertips after a dry down)

I've used Adam's Car Wash alot, Swissvax Car Bathe, Meguiar's Shampoo Plus, Meguiar's Hyper Wash, and alot of other OTC products...never tried CWG though

well, CWG will remove wax though right?

cwg will if you use a lot... i am shocked about it being better than SV.. i just started using it and LOVE how it doesn't leave any residue.. it comes off super easy, smells great, suds just right, i love this shampoo... i guess i will have to try some perl soon. esp since phil inspired me with a 1z banner!!!!!!!!!! :D thx so much phil.. now i just need a home of my own to put it in. and that search is going slower than expected

Is the dilution ration the standard one ounce per gallon?

I'd have to say ONR is really a different product from a basic car wash soap, it's a bucket waterless wash system.

I think any shampoo can remove wax if overly concentrated. For weekly washes, I think CWG should be diluted around 1/2oz to a full oz. Not that much is needed, it is very lubricated.

Try to use Pearls concentrated on a sponge after a wash. Rinse and let it bead/sheet!

I've become really used to use the zaino shampoo because of how slippery it is.. How does this compare? Also where can you buy it?
