... Now the haze has gone! Or rather, my dad can... just a little bit of fun this post, my dad was complaining he couldn't see out of his holiday caravan windows - so we took them off and you can see why!: Nothing that a rotary and some Menzerna Intensive Polish on both sides can't fix though!... I didn't go for full on correction of every deep mark there - just a good polish by machine to restore the clarity to the windows (plastic). 50/50 shows that I think I have achieved that goal... Now... how do I get them back on the caravan?:lol:
That there is 40 years worth of salt spray, UV damage and what I can only imagine would be old rags and brushes to clean the windows...
Wow, looks like Pops has been at the local Swirl-a-Matic:giggle: I beleieve this could be a Contender for the best turn-a-round ever:applause2: As far as getting them back in...Vasoline will be your freind in this instance:cig:
Very nice turnaround. I can tell by your dad's expression in picture #4 that he thinks you are crazy.
Windows now reinstalled - it would seem my dad's been doing a wee bit of building as these two windows have now become one double-glazed unit, and the remaining hole made a door into the hut he's built alongside ... looks like he's going ahead with his solar powered shower idea now!
