Although some don't like the thick plastic coating look, i have a silver car, and my Dad has a white car, and I think that the plastic look lends itself to helping lighter colors look nicer. I know that Z2 has been described as "plasticky" but can you guys recommend some of the thickest plastic look lsp's you've used?
Zaino Z-AIO is a ncie one-stepper that will give a nice look on silver and white, and is ready to be topped with whatever (no ZFX required, no cure time). Klasse Twins are nice on silver and white also.
In all honesty, I have such a hard time telling the difference between one LSP and another. Maybe my eyes are getting old? For me, this is what it comes down to for me when I choose my favorite LSP: 1) easy of application 2) easy of removal 3) is there any post-work required? 4) durability 5) beading
Depends on the color of the paint. Black is really easy to evaluate the different looks of different LSP's. Silver is very difficult.
Z2 (non pro) was fantastic on white and silver. IMO the Pro version looks a bit less plasticky. I too am a big fan of the plastic look on lighter colors, especially silver and white. DG111 still seems to have that laminated menu look, its like the old Z2.
im right there with you man with that list, except i'd change up #5 to "sheeting". The beading aspect sort of bothers me if the water isnt sliding off the paint. If the LSP makes the car bead and the water just stays on the paint then i will not use it. So if the sheeting is really good then i dont mind the beading qualities.
lol pretty much. But i was so tempted to put on a 2nd coat of 845 today. I already had a coat on that i put on monday but i want to try out Blackfire Wet Diamond so i stripped the car. The 845 sure looked good though and sooo slick and smooth. Hopefully the Blackfire stuff can produce that result, if not better. If it doesnt then 845 might be my only LSP i use lol
