So, I have one more question...what's a good way, product, etc...to remove paint overspray? A buddy of mine who wants me to do his car has some overspray from a stripe paint job. It's very tiny tiny specs on the rear hips of the car. I looked at them up close yesterday and they are no bigger than a pin head but I'd say there's gotta be at least 20-50 dots littering one area. guess they didn't tape off as well as they should have. I then inspected my camaro which I had custom blackouts painted on in Hot Rod Black, I found two tiny pin sized dots of black behind my rear wheel. What's the best way to get rid of this stuff! I did a little claying on my camaro, but it did not take the paint off...then again I didn't give too mch effort, just wanted to test it. Thanks for all info.
those nanoskin autoscrub pads seem like a safe bet, but is there a cheaper way? haha. they're pretty expensive and only can be used on DA's????? unless im mistaken
You can always try clay or solvents. Micro-mech sanding paper is an option too (8,000 grit). Nanoskin also has a towel that may work, but I'd contact David Sylican with Innovative Detailing to see how effective they are on over spray.
the auto scrub seems to be really working well for many. I believe its about 1-1.25 per use. but if it does save you time it will be worth it. we will be testing them in the next week.
