I'm detailing a 2003 Mercedes Ml350 and I noticed as I wipe my LSP off and rub against the black trim around the windows that I keep getting black residue on my towels from the trim. Is there anything I can use to clean and remove this black stuff?

Are you talking about the soft vinly-like material, or the felt-like material? I use the P21S APC with q-tips for the felt. For the vinyl-like material, I use IPA50:50

Yeah I'm talking about the black rubber trim, not the felt. Last night I tried to clean it with a terry towel and Meg APC. Just a spritz and some pressure when rubbing and the towel is black,; it looked like black shoe polish. I will try a IPA wipedown and see how it reacts. I was ging to dress it with either Megs Natural shine protectant OR 303, what do you think?

I have a 99 ML, KAIO works amazingly well on that rubber around the windows.

What are you using to clean the black stuff off or are you just applying the KAIO

KAIO cleans it and leaves it looking like new. I apply with a foam applicator pad.
