Just curious about how often you guys/gals detail. For me, I usually do a full detail once in a few months. Sometimes I get the urge and ask a friend if I can detail his/her car. I guess I really enjoy detailing that much. Havent really gotten paid, I just ask them to pay for materials. Dont get me wrong, I wash and wax my car every week. :mounty:
I do it as a hobby, so I do 1-2 full details a month. However, that is about to change as many people at work have been asking me to detail their car. I am going to charge them though.
For the last 3 months, its been 8-14 full details a month. Plus I work my full time job from fri-sun 12-13 hours a day. So I am a little burned out, with both jobs I have been putting in 70 hours a week this month. :crasy: Wife and I are going to Spain next week for our 10th anniv. So it is perfect timing to say the least. :applause2:
Bryan, don't forget to take your rotary with you. Maybe you can pick up one when your in Spain............just j/k .... enjoy your hard earn vacation!
Thats unreal Bryan. I don't know how you do it. I have been working full time during the week and then doing details on Sat and Sunday and I am having trouble keeping up
My wife would push me off the balcony at the hotel if she saw any detailing products. Congrats Angelo!!! I go to my full time job to rest from detailing. Actually I was feeling like crap yesterday when I had about 3-4 hours left on the Z06. I ate some lunch and rested for a bit. Thank god I was at home for this one. I am going to have to cut back to two details a week when the real heat comes. :crasy:
Mine have dropped off from 5-6 to 3- 4 and I haven't seen that here lately. The rising costs of everything from fuel to food has brought me close to a halt. Not pleased at all but when it boils down to food or car there's only one choice......got to have chow for the family! Everyone is running scared except those that are immune to rising prices. I'm going to seek that section out for more work hopefully. You need to understand that Brownsville TX is the most impoverished city in the USA so any work is good here.
