What is the safest way to unlock an Iphone? I have a 1st Generation iphone that is locked that I'm getting ready to sell, but want to unlock it first. I've heard that if you use a program that isn't reputable that the phone can get messed up and that it can't be used anymore.
for my old iphone i did a jail break that unlocked it. i used the jailbreak black rain. you download it on your computer and plug the phone in and hit the program and in like a minute it is unlocked. or you can also just go to JailbreakMe. do it right on your iphone and all you do is slide the button and boom the phone is unlocked. good luck
