I would love to try out chemical guys products but shipping is so much so i was thinking of trying adams apc, car soap, and a few other. How are those products or should i pass them up and go with megs.
Both Megs and Chemical Guys make good products. I really like Megs for polishes. The Adams polishes arent actually that great, but their QD and dressings are pretty good IMO
I have and still use several of the adams products. They work really well .I love the QD,soap ,under carriage dressing and quite a few of his other products. Give them a shot and see what you like.
I have used most of the Adam's line and would definitely recommend the detail spray, car wash soap, VRT and Under carriage spray. I would stay away from the polishes and waxes though, nothing special in my opinion
2nd...their APC is serviceable as well. Oh and their Carpet & Upholstery is pretty solid. Really like that stuff.
Not really adding much here, but I'll agree with most of what has been said already. I REALLY like their detail spray, In and Out spray and VRT. The soap and metal polishes are pretty good too.
I really like the Adams products. Favorites are: Car Soap Quick Detailer (AWESOME) VRT (Very nice finish, not super shiny) Upholstry Cleaner Undercarriage Spray Gray Clay I reccomend all of these products!
a friend of mine has a few samples from adams, [new to the uk] he supplies detailing goods and is considering investing, what do you guys think yes or no , also is the butter wax any good,[no sample was sent] any feedback would be appreciated.
Ok, here we go. This is pretty widely known by now. From your post count, you probably haven't seen some of the posts about this before. Here's my take on it. If I pay a little bit of premium for an Adam's product from Detailer's Domain, I figure in the end it's a wash from buying it from CG. With out discount at DD, the better shipping rates, and actually knowing that your product is going to ship ASAP is worth something. Actually, I'm glad you brought this up as it's given me a chance to get my thoughts out there about it. BTW, great screen name.
Hey its your money. I been doing this over 10 years so at this point when I order the shipping does not matter. I love Phil at DD, he rocks.
I've tried the Butter Wet Wax and it looks decent but doesn't last more than a couple of weeks. If you were nearby I'd give you the bottle to try out.
lol adams is CG debate rages on. Can't we just be happy using what we want. IIRC CG at DD is sometimes cheaper than CGs...so how do we know Adams isnt making all the CG products.
