I ended up with a collection of very high quality pocket knives when my uncle passed away this year. He was a collector of knives and other sharp things. The other items were donated to the Canadian Army for training and documentation purposes. These knives have never been used and were sharpened by my uncle to the point you could shave with them. ONLY SERIOUS ENQUIRIES, as these are not cheap to purchase and I will not respond to low ball offers. I would like to sell them as I am not much of a collector and having a small son, these are not the best things to have around the house. I have researched the retail price of these knives and found the knife codes when I could. I have also list the blade material which is a major factor in the quality of the knife. IM always down to buy weapons........ especially high quality knives. the prices are right on when it comes to retail, and the knives are top drawer. I have a bunch of benchmades and they are 15 years old and still flawless in function. Are you asking retail? or do you have a price in mind?
i am looking for reasonable offers, as the above states no low ballers (not saying you are). I just want fair value for the knives, all of them have never been used, only sharpened
I am not a lowballer, but you should state a price you want, especially on knives....... because I can tell you not many people in general are going to appreciate a knife of this caliber let alone understand the price point, so by posting retail prices and no lowballing, how is the average person going to understand what is not a lowball price. Is it 10%, 20% 50% off of retail? define a low ball offer. We have this issue on gun forums, I had a guy offer me 500 for a 1500 hand gun...... that is a lowball offer. LOL
60% or so. Only because they are basically new, never used. I used retail prices so that I didn't get a bunch of "I'll give you ten bucks for a $200 knife. It's the only pricing I could find for them. i will cut a bit more of a break if someone wants to buy multiple knives.
Fair enough......... thanks for clarifying that for the masses. also some of these knives are pretty rare, there are knife forums for knife geeks, I would hit one of those up too.
these are not even the more expensive of his collection I suspect, I have seen tactical fixedblades sell for 600.00.......... consider them mini samurai swords when it comes to the blade tech. That HK is made by benchmade I believe.
thanks, I posted on knifeforums.com as well. I will never value these items like I am sure my uncle did. He did have a couple Rambo type knives that I am sure were worth something and the swords probably worth something as well. Thanks for the help
updated list, possible sales are still open, not sold just people interested. I also have better pics here Spiderco Login to a private Photobucket.com album PW: spiderco lone wolf Login to a private Photobucket.com album PW:lonewolf
