Another showroom post from yours truely. This time a friend asked me to protect his Porsche. The car was recently detailed and he was basically looking to get another coat of wax onto it. I offered to carry this out for him. SO HERE WE GO AGAIN. This was the car when i got to his house. There was not much in the way of bonded contaminents. The car had a fine layer of dust that had settled onto the paint. The car pretty much sits in this garage and is rarely driven. I then set about all the crevices and fuel cap etc with g101 and a detail brush. Where the car is stored there seems to be a lot of dust and dirt settling on the car. I washed the car with the usual 2bm and CG Glossworkz shampoo. The alloys were Cleaned using Diablo wheel gel at 4:1. And the exhaust polished up with megs metal polish. G101 was also sprayed into the arches and used to clean the tyre walls. After this was carried out i decided to go for a wax that would be a fast curing wax due to the area i was in and the temperatures. I opted to finish of this fine Porsche example with a coat of Valetines concours wax. The tires were dressed with espuma rd50 and the wheels sealed with CG jetseal 109. Both the espuma rd50 and the valentines wax were the first time i had used them. They both are very good durable products which is why i chose them for this car. Some after shots.
