Hi guys, Just getting rdy to place a little order on DB. Just wanted some advice. Going to start detailing my M3 next week. It's a 08 jerez black with light/med swirls. So far I have power finish and M205. With 1 yellow uber pad, 2 green and a black pad. After reading I've learned, I at least need 2 of each. So I was thinking of getting another yellow, another black, 2 blues that I don't have. Should I also get two orange? And also wondering if I should order and other polishes? Thanks guys this forum is the best.
I would not buy any orange since you have the yellows. Considering you have a black car I would get a few blue pads as they may finish down for you a little better than using the green for your final polishing step. If you don't want to buy anymore polish, try the powerfinish with the green first. If that doesn't work for your swirls step down to the yellow pad. Use your m205 with the blue pads to finish up before your lsp.
Thanks for your help. Just place a order got 2 blues, 1 green, 1 black and another yellow. Also got some uber micro fibers and some uber red applicators. So addicting and expensive :gidiup:
