    Hey DB

My best friend want to do some headlight restoration service. what do you guys recommend?

    tool and polish

I recommend griot 3in d/a poliher and meg 04. and question for the Griot 3in buffer,

can you use a 5in bp and use 5in pads?

after seeing how AG does business, I don't really wanna buy from them.
I wanna give this business to DD, DI, PAC, or ADS but none of them have it

On the 3" DA you cant use anything larger than the 3" or it will stall out. You can use a 3" BP on a regular sized DA (like a PC 7424) with some 3.5 or 4" pads and do good work. I would say use 3m plastic polish or some 106FA. 3m headlight kit is actually pretty darn good as well.

Meguiars has a new system coming out that uses air tools (D?A & Rotary) and special sanding paper. It is pricey but looks like it will do the job in half the time of any other product. I watched a demo at the Irvine office. It was nice. I think they will be asking $440. It can be used for spot scratch removal on paint also.

Saw this in another post by Richy but try some Autosol. I saw some vids and was surprised myself. To my knowledge people have started doing it and it's really cost effective and surprisingly works really well. Check it out.
