Headlight Restoration: '04 Nissan Quest

    This is my first click&brag on here. This was a restoration of sorts, for the headlights on the family hauler.

    Products:
    Menzerna Powerglos
    1Z Intensive Pasta
    Menzerna FPII
    Werkstatt AJT (x2)
    Collinite 845
    DP clay
    Last Touch

    Tools:
    PC
    ccs yellow
    3m uk orange
    3m white waffle
    mf towels
    red ccs applicator (x2)
    3m tape (blue)

    Total Time: 2 hours.

    Awesome work with no wet-sanding. All the headlight restorations I have done required wet-sanding to some extent. Great job!

    The lights look great! 2 hours is a long, long time to spend on them. I would suggest that you hit it 1st with wet sanding and then follow up with a PG or equivalent and then with a finer polish or DG's plastic polish (or Megs) and you will easily have it done in 1/4 of the time. I've used several different products and methods with equally good results..just have fun playing with it. Here's a few I have done to illustrate how they were done differently:

    I would have wet-sanded them, but I have never wet-sanded anything before.

    Looks like you did a fantastic job and got great results.
    Yes wet sanding would have sped up the process but I can understand your concern. The first time I wet sanded some headlight and I haven't done many, man was I nervous, but it turned out ok.
