Harbor Freight Halogen Clearance Item $10

I just got back from my local Harbor Freight. I had never been into their retail stores before, only browsed online. I wound up spending WAY too much while down there on other, non-detailing goodness, but I did come across a killer deal on a set of halogen lights.

Well I found one in the clearance section for only $9.99. YMMV, but I thought I would post this great deal.

 

Only 150watt.. Won't pick up a lot of defects.. but I guess to light up a garage at night, can't beat it!

 

the one I got from Pep Boys is dual 500 watt...Picks up a lot of defects...

 

so each lamp is 250watt or is each 500w?

i just bought a 2x 250w halogen set from Canadian Tire and am wondering if that is enough to pick up defects.

damn i have dual 1000 watt lights, maybe i pick up too many defects?? LOL

 

went to sears and picked up craftsman 1000W lights, only $30 with free work light

I actually just ordered this and am going to return the light I bought from Harbor Freight. I mean for a few bucks mores you get a much brighter light. Thanks everyone.

 

took mine out. looks pretty good. cant wait to try them out

 

Just picked mine up this evening, assembled and fired them up. Damn they are bright. The tripod is awesome for easier adjustment. Much better then the HF I bought. Those go back to the store on Saturday.
