I woke up Thursday morning to a phone call from Greg@Racers Edge Tuning. The shop had asked for a quote on detailing. I asked what kind of car and the response I got was "A Coyote Mustang Showcar"...... I told them I would have to drive over and see the car to give a quote. I Arrive at RET to inspect the car and I see this custom painted car that was covered in dust and dirt. I looked over the car, wrote down my estimate, and Called the owner to talk over the options since the car was getting work done at RET (custom tuning). The 2011 Mustang GT was in need of a deep down cleaning to perfection. After talking to the owner, we agreed on going on the car with a 1 step polish to remove any light swirls that were on the car and brighten up the paintwork. The car was going to a Photoshoot for a magazine and a car show on sunday so my time with the car was limited. We decided on a game plan and started the action. The owner requested that the car was washed and prepped using a waterless system so I planned accordingly. The car arrived friday at noon and was picked up saturday night... This job took much longer than expected. This was a fun but exhaust job at the same time. The results were impressive. Enjoy!!! PS - I tried to get more pics of the claying and polishing but my camera battery died right after the wash. Yeah, pretty legit whip. The yellow is all painted cause the car was custom resprayed :thumb: Gracias :afro: Thanks  Thanks buddy :mounty: They truly look tiny compared to the front lol
I was going to say that because that color looks like DSG. Also wonder where they got the carbon fiber GT/CS front valence and that rear diffuser.
Great work! Nice Stang! Ford uses 11.8 inch rear rotors and single piston calipers on the rear of the 5.0 so you can fit a smaller rim (16 or 17) with a drag radial or slick for drag racing. My GT500 has 14 inch 4 piston Brembos upfront and 11.8 inch 2 piston in the rear. The 2013 has six-piston calipers Brembo braking system with larger front and rear rotors.
She's a little stunner. Nice color combo as well. Very nicely detailed. Had not heard of that matte detailer from CG yet, interesting...
The Carbon fiber diffuser and Splitter were made by True-Fiber. The hood, trunk, and roof were also Carbon fiber as well. For what i experienced with my own eyes, the pieces were of very high quality. Thanks Buddy!!! CG has had that Matte Detailer out for for a while. It works Very well IMHO on everything matte. I have a few flat black painted pieces on my mustang and the matte detailer does a great job on bringing back deep, rich look. You should give it a try.
UPDATE: This car won First Place and BEST OF SHOW at the South Bay Ford Car Show the following day i finished the detail
Nice, I bet that was a great feeling knowing it won By the way which shop re-sprayed it they did a really good job.
Car does look nice, and working in "Suckness" like conditions of the tight garage..........................FYI the garage is for the CAR(lol) and for the matte detailer even I did not know about that product................cannot keep up with CG and the new gear sometimes.
