I have talked this over with Nica and he has agreed to allow this to be a group buy. I am ordering a bunch of things for myself so I will take care of the shipping into the US. All prices of the pads are singles and include the shipping to buyer. Once the order is placed it will take approximately one month for you to receive the pads. Please PM me with quantities, color, and size of pad you would like.

Funny you should ask. I was just using my new 3M pads yesterday. I would say that they are very similar. The Menzerna compounding pad however, is like polishing with a pumice stone! Be vewy, vewy, afwaid!

I think I have a solution for the adapter for everyone! I went to ace this week and got the 5/8s nut and the m14 threaded bolt, now they just need to be welded together I'll take a pic and update this later.

The green is much harder than the megs red. i havent used the megs pads too much so I cant really comment, but i have to say these green compounding pads are a dream to use.

No idea where they sell that adapter, but i would be interested in purchasing one as well so i can buy that UK BP, if not I may just wait to see how the gloss-it one is.

I agree. They both cut quite well but the 3M pad is a bit smaller which I find is easier to handle.

one more note: I called Fastenal and they dont have an adapter like that, so Im pretty sure its gonna be a a homemade deal for anyone.

If you do get some, I would make a fairly large order on the 6" pads.

Have you guys checked out McMaster-Carr for fittings like this? I bet they'd have it. It's a MASSIVE website, so it'll take some hunting, but for hardware, they're hard to beat. I've been using them for spherical bearings and whatnot for race cars for years.

Look at my post in this thread for two options to buy the adapter.

I'd be interested in the gray 3M backing plate in 5/8 thread. When does the order have to go in?

I would like to place the order by next week Friday, or as soon as it seems all orders are in and there are no more inquiries.

Is there a big difference on the normal 3M vs the black 3M Brent?
