Griots Machine Polish 3 Streaking?

Yesterday I did a bit of a cleanup, car got over the winter with very few swirl marks (very light, nothing heavy). Washed 2x with Dawn to get the AG HD wax off, clayed, then IPA wipedown.

Decided to try Machine Polish 3 as I had not used it before. Each section got 6 passes, product had properly broken down. When I got done with the hood, front fender, and door, I noticed streaking (did IPA wipedown after every section was done). So, more IPA. Streaks kept coming back, it just about drove me crazy.

Finally went over it with Megs UP which I also had just bought and it took it all off, no issues whatsoever.

Has anyone else experienced this? Paint was clean, no beading/sheeting after the washing and claying, pads were new, and yet...

 

I have experienced the same thing the first time I used Machine Polish 3. Had to ditch it.

 

I didn't notice any streaking but I went over with #4 and came out perfect.
