    Hi Guys,

Anybody have any experience with Griot's Garage Wheel Cleaner? I ordered a 32oz bottle from Amazon but I haven't tried it yet.

The description says that it is "pH balanced" so I was thinking no big deal, just a low-alkaline formula but my pH test strip came up completely neutral! And I have only read positive reviews from people regarding this cleaner. Any comments on this product? If it's any good, as well as being pH neutral, the $30/gallon price is extremely reasonable!

    Thanks
    Emile

I haven't used it in over a year but my thoughts are that it is good for wheel maintained wheels. If you are dealing with German car type brake dust you will want to have something stronger in your arsenal. I went thru two 32oz bottles and haven't ordered any more. I decided to just stick with soap and water for my well maintain wheels and reach for the serious cleaners when dealing with heavy brake dust.

I purchased a gallon on the wheel cleaner a few months ago and it does work well on wheels that aren't really bad. But if there is A LOT of grime I reach for a diluted Automagic Spoke wheel cleaner (acid).
