Used it for the second time today for tires/wheel wells. Worked as well as Meg's super degreaser. I diluted it to between 3:1 and 4:1. Thinking of ordering another gallon during the DI sale.

What else do you guys use it for? Is it paint safe? I guess no, but I always err on the side of caution.

Yeah grime reaper does rock, but for some reason I haven't used it in a little while...AG CWC works better on tires than anything I've seen yet.

havent tried either of those products . . . . . might need to look into that. Bad part is i like stuff that comes in larger sizes such as the grime reaper vs the small autoglym bottles.

Custom wheel cleaner comes in 5L size. Ken at autowerkes exclusive sells them. That's where I get mine. Even with shipping from canada its cheaper than a 5L of P21S gel, at least last time I bought CWC it was.

oh dang no kidding. Guess i learned something new today already. Would you say it works better then P21? The AG CWC is more for light to medium soiled rims though, correct?

Grime Reaper smells a lot like CWC. Strong ammonia smell to it. Both are very impressive at pulling dirt out of dirty tires but I could go with CWC since it can do both wheels and tires and dirty engines bays etc.

For the price I get Grime reaper for, I'll have to stick with it.

So do the ScandicShine boys. How does directly compare to Meguiars SuperDegreaser??

so both Autoglym cwc and CG Grime Ripper can be used on engine bay, tyres and rims.
but cwc is more expensive and can only dilute 1:1 compare to Grime Ripper 1:3 or even 1:4.

Can Grime Ripper be compare to Home Depot's Zep purple degreaser?

AG CWC is not for cleaning engine bays. I'm sure it would work but the cleaners in it were designed to safely clean wheels. For engine bays, jambs etc, try AG Engine and machine cleaner. It will be available in gallons as well shortly for $29.95

Can't wait for that, you are the man!

I called CG about Grime Reaper on paint and they told me it's safe to use, just make sure it's 5:1 or weaker, and make sure it doesn't dwell on the paint for too long.

I keep a bottle of Grime Reaper diluted at 5:1 as my go-to tar remover, petal cleaner, and spot-cleaning heavily soiled carpets....the stuff is the bomb!
