Hey guys I need some help. I wanted to know what could I use to remove gorilla glue from paint without causing any damage? The escalade that we use as the shuttle at my job had a loose door handle and one of the engineers used gorilla glue for a temporary fix, but he applied to much and accidently smeared the excess across the paint. I have attached a picture. Thanks for your help Jonathan
Try some adhesive remover like this one: http://www.detailersdomain.com/3m-general-adhesivecleaner-08987.aspx Depending on the type of Gorilla Glue you have (super or regular) the manufacturer also recommends acetone or carefully sanding it off (I wouldn't do that.) I would also try claying it off.
If you need something fast, most hardware places or auto parts places that I have seen stock the 3M adhesive remover mentioned above.
Ok, I will look into the adhesive remover mentioned. After creating the thread I was wondering would tarminator possibly work and afterwards clay to remove any left over residue Thanks
