looking to get some detail brushes and in the future would love to get the raceglaze brushes from ken but funds are tight right now. I am looking for something to do the door jambs, vents, and wheels. Do you guys have any solutions that you use or suggestions. thanks. I was thinking of going to HD ant getting the softest paint brush i can find in a managable size, almost similar to a SV Pneu brush, then just wrap elatrical tape around the metal.
I have the raceglaze detail brush set from ken and swissvax detail brushes from phil. I was like you, looking for a cheap alternative, but nothing feels nicer than Phil swissvax brushes, I just got Ken's raceglaze detail brush set, haven't used it yet, so no comment on those
I was like this too, and really the RG brushes get softer in hot water and accompanied with an all purpose cleaner+some car wash shampoo it didnt scratch the surface, checked multiple times (this was an RX350 which has medium to soft paint) And honestly you only need the 28mm one, the largest one. Just maybe get two, one for wheels one for doors.
