Ok, im glad I traded for it or I would have been sort of pissed. First off my car has Cquartz and a Reload, so it is very slick and water sheets off very easy. I just use a blower and it will dry my car very quickly. After I used Glossworks it was pointless to use the blower, it actually became grabby, like when you have NO LSP on a car and the water just sort of pushes around. I tried a towel and it and it came off ok but left streaking, which under normal circumstances with the Reload it does not, just wipes off clean.
Not sure if it created an issue with the Reload or what, I was so tired of dealing with it after the roof and the hood, I Re foamed my car with Citrus wash and OPT PC and stripped if off, and re applied reload and threw the rest of the glossworks away LOL.

Now it may look good for some people, and it may work for others, but I found it to be basically a mess to deal with. :waiting:

Damn I really like it, just used it today as a matter of fact on my 135, topped it with V7 and it looks outlandish. It had to be something with the Reload

I used it on a car with reload and it had the same effect.

Hey Karl what did you diluted it to in your bucket I always wash using 2oz of it to 3gallons of water and I have never had a problem with it. Even when my gt was coated with Cquartz. I am sorry you disliked it:-(

Ya I don't like it either. Lets just say it got too much hype when it came out and cg did a good job marketing it. I'll stick to opt car wash for half the price.

I think in the long term, the only CG products I have been impressed with are the Pro detailer, and the Citrus daily wash....... everything else is decent, but nothing to write home about. I was a huge Blacklight fan when it came out, I used it on maybe 10 cars, looked great going out, but on long term durability it was real weak.

I like Glossworkz a lot, I just use 2-3 oz for 3-4 gallons of water and it works great. Refreshes the beading after the wash and makes it really easy to dry off the car with my Metro 4hp Dryer. Gives a nice shine, and has a really decent amount of suds. It looks like ReLoad and Glossworkz just do not play well together.

Never had streaking or grabby surface. Its actually the opposite. I find that it sheets the water very well and quickly too. And it resists streaking from towel drying. Foams nice too, and gentle but as of late I only use it as a wash booster (add 1oz to any shampoo I use) since its the opposite of slick in the bucket. MSUG is the way to go! Leaves strong LSP beading after washing, awesome gloss, and hella slick! Ohh, and who doesn't love pink suds!

i was all about the glossworkz when it was first released. it left a nice shine, but its cleaning ability was lacking. slickness was just ok.

anybody wanna buy 48oz of it? LOL

I am sure its Reload because I never had an issue with Glossworkz when I had Cquartz on my mustang.

I also agree MS UG is much slicker wash and leaves a nicer glossy look after the wash. It is what I am going to replace Glosworkz with, once I am done with my gallon.

Like Emile said ... I think Glossworkz and Re-load don't play well together. I like Glossworkz and it has never acted "grabby" for me.

I personally really like glossworkz. I have used it as a maintenance soap on my mustang for about 8 months now. I always use it with 1oz of product to 5 gallons of water.

The soap suds very nice, rinses clean, and leaves the finish looking very smooth.

I have not had issues with the paint becoming "grabby", but I do use QD everytime i dry my car.

I did try MS Ultra Gloss and found it to not be much better that Glossworks. I couldnt notice a difference in look between the 2 soaps.

Over the last week ui have been using CG Honeydew snowfoam in a wash bucket and I like how slick and clean the soap is. Smells great.

You didn't comment on the slickness of Glossworkz, and this is where MSUG wins hands down.

Gotta try out Honeydew snowfoam soon, must smell very nice!
