Gloss-it Signature Gloss

Any of you guys use this stuff before? I am seriously considering becoming their distributor in the Northwest and have 4 oz of it coming in the mail to try out. Suppose to get almost 20 cars with this small amount but have never seen anybody post anything about it online.

hope it is as good as they say and is easy to apply and buff off

Signature Tire Gloss is my favorite tire shine.

HOWEVER....G.I. is hella expensive and most people will be out of their mind to spend the money on their stuff unless they absolutely love it to death.

A little will go a long way....but I find most tire shines do.

According to "Jimmy" he is no longer affiliated with "Gloss-it" as with everyone who is around Rich aka "The Chord" aka "The Ming" as in Ming the merciless finds out he is full of poop at all times(In case anyone is wondering why I am saying these things Bing and I had a gentlemen's agreement with Rich at last years SEMA show not to say anything negative about each other but he broke that promise like all the others he makes).

Of course anything I mention is my opinion but everyone knows I tell it like it really is without bias or filter, Rich has some good products such as the tire dressing/leather dressing/TRV/wheel gel and the QD works pretty good but will cause your microfiber towels to lint to the point of having to throw them away(Such as I did) now the not so good......all the polishes are suckness which require a special "Application" that only works in Rich's shop.

Here is a example that Richie and Mark Zamzow can back up..........................when they came for the "Signature detail course" which I taught(Was only supposed to help in this.) we were working on a C5 Corvette just like Richie's wife's car, and the Gloss it extreme cut is not getting it done son..............well I made a "Command desicion" to use some M105 he had in the shop and replaced the extreme cut beta version with M105 in the small bottles we were all using.

Anyway we start cutting throught the marring finally and Rich comes out in the shop and says"Give me a buffer I can buff as good as you Bob" and I do and hand him MY BOTTLE which has M105 in it and does a small part of the panel and then goes back into his office..........................it was all I could do not to laugh(Note: I should not have done this as it is Rich's shop and customer but he was so myopic about his products performance we had to do something as he was charging the customer top dollar) Rich says" See look at the part I did....just as good as yours....... later he would be mad as hell(Understandable when he found out what I did) and claimed we could not have switched it out as he got a NEW bottle of Beta extreme cut from a box in the cabinet, and goes on to claim he puts a chemical in his product that would react with others and turn Red if mixed with M105.....................................incredible but this is just how he rolls, to the OP if you get hooked up with Rich "You will get all you want....but will you want all you will get" you have been warned as EVERY detailer who has been involved has left him alone sans Brian @ Detailwerkz in Dallas and a couple of others..................Polished Bliss finally woke up to his shenanigans and looking back I should have warned them too.

 

Thanks Bob. I didn't want to be the first to say something. But I've heard similar bad stories with other detailers. :/

the whole point of this forum is to say something and educate others on the subject. now that i know the truth about this company I will not be purchasing any of their products.

 

Well to expound on what was already mentioned.

The names have not been changed to protect the guilty.

To start things off Here are a few pics of Rich A.K.A "The Chord"

He also bears a slight resemblance to Ming the Merciless.




Now as far as the products go, Bob is right on the money. I was a reseller and had $2,500 of his product and eventually tossed it in the trash.

He has had a very high attrition rate as everyone eventually figures out he is full of shit!

When Bob and I were at SEMA last year I was still getting emails from GI about SEMA specials and discounts. After emailing Rich and telling him to remove me from his email list things got heated I told Rich I would be at his booth by the end of the day, of course he did not think it would happen.

To his dismay Bob and I were at his booth near the end of the show and even though he had three other guys at his booth he tells Jimmy Lucci to call for reinforcements. I guess he's a lot tougher over the internet. :crasy:

He will latch onto any detailer to gain market share and promote his products.

So from someone who has been a GI reseller use this advice as you will............................DON'T DO IT!!!!

"The Bing owned The Ming"......................but wait there's more..........................Rich have you done anymore cars for Chris @ "The M Corp"???? me thinks not as he was not a "Fan of the chord" as someone with his background was not impressed with the "Aura of the Chord".

Also to continue to pile on, there is a So.Cal detailer he told .......................wait for it that he had a degree in Chemistry....................no s**t, and maybe this "Detailer" will come on here and vett this statement, but did not want to use his name until then...............he is a "Big Boy" as well and will not be intimidated with the "Chordness".

In addition there is a connection between "Andy/got wax" and Rich(In my opinion of course) as Andy attacked first Dave(DSMS) then Richie, and finally myself........and what class do the three of us have in common?....we were all FORMER GLOSS-IT guys hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, also Andy sent a text to Richie saying he was "Payed to F with us" so come to your own conclusions.

 

Bing and Bob...you will get a kick out of this...

A friend who was caught up with the "Ming" told me that the Ming told him he taught you guys how to detail.

I've heard one side of a detail class story before. What a rip and a complete waste of time.

 

Well................................you see my write ups......................where are his?, of course he also said he was a pro skier and soccer player in europe, in addition to that he was being trained to fight in the UFC where they "Measured his punch" like in Rocky IV.....uh huh me thinks not as when I suspected "the chord' was full of it I called Frank Mir's gym(He said he knew him, of course this would really be from seeing Mir who was head of security at "Spearmint Rhino" gentlemen's club in Vegas which Rich frequented) and the folks there said "Who"............. also called Master Toddy's gym which if Rich was training Thai Boxing he would need to be there............same thing "Who".

Here is another "Chord Moment" when Richie and Mark Zamzow were out for the Signature Detail class in 09 Rich took us to a spot he was going to move to next to "Tapout Gym" in a really nice industrial park(A big upgrade from the Ghetto shop he
had and still has) and made a big deal how he was moving there and the rent was the same as his present shop....................NEVER HAPPENED of course....just like Andy.

Notice the pattern gents................................. FOSAAT = Full of s**t at all times, I have only met one other guy like him and that is Dave Hartson who I worked for in the Limo biz in the Nineties who also now lives in "Vegas".
