The customer had made the the short trip over to me to drop the car off for a few days Firstly i foamed the car with AG Powermax 3 Left to dweel for a few minutes then rinsed at high pressure Next up were the wheels and arches - i used Surfex HD and a brush for the arches and tyres and Epsuma Revolution Wheel Cleaner for the wheels: AFTER Wheels were clayed and treated to a coat of Zaino AIO Wheel inners also recieved a coat of Zaino CS and inner tyre wall was dressed before fitting back on to vehicle Next up I applied G101 to all door shuts and crevices and gave them a good clean with mitt I then proceeded to wash the car with the 2 bucket method and Megs Shampoo Plus My next step would usually be to clay, however customer had some protection film and a few other bits he wanted removed so I set about removing these first The protection film around Targa Top opening was looking a bit worn so client also wanted it removed Vehicle was then clayed with Sonus green and Megs Last Touch as lube After claying vehicle was given another foam with a weak mix of AG Powermax 3 and rinsed at high pressure. Vehicle was dried and paintwork was inspected and paint measurements were taken using the Positestor 200 I set about finding a combo and settled on using Gloss It Evolution Cut on a 3M Polishing pad primed with Gloss It EVP, some area's on bonnet required a drop 3M FCP Due to the colour of vehicle I struggled to get some decent pics of the swirls and gave up after awhile but here is few defects that I did manage to capture. BEFORE AFTER BEFORE AFTER BEFORE AFTER BEFORE AFTER Targa Tops removed to allow me to reach some of the tighter area's After all correction was finished paintwork was then refined using Menz 85RD Vehicle was given a IPA wipedown and a coat of Swissvax Divine was applied Exhausts polished using Brillant Metal polishes Wheel faces protected with Swissvax Autobahn and tryes dress with Swissvax Pneu Interior was clean and only needed a good vacuum, all surfaces wiped down, leather cleaned and conditioned and all seals treated with Swissvax Seal Feed Some finished shots Short Vid YouTube - Gleaming Kleen - TVR T350t thanks for looking
Awesome work on a really impressive car. Love the paint on that one and you made it just drop dead gorgeous!
I agree such a gorgeous colour, compliments the vehicles curves/body. Well done Jay vehicle looks great, see you UK folks always take detailing to a different level :worship2: By the way I've been looking in to the Brillant Metal polishes and can't decide on what to get, which ones are you using? I was going to order all of them but not sure if I need all of them :shead: Any help would be greatly appreciated.
OMG, Jay!! What a gorgeous colour!! (Can you imagine trying to match that paint??) And the car!! What a rolling art form. How lucky you are to work on such a gorgeous machine. You can see the improvement you made in spite of the colour. Well, well done, man! Good for you.
