    Hi all,

Thanks for taking the time to view another thread from us.

Here we have a 1990 Bentley Turbo R that had just over 40 hours of work put in to it to get it looking its best.

No photo's of the wash stages as it was raining on day 1 but the usual stages were carried out (pre-wash, wash and de-tar). The Bentley was then brought inside to be clayed and then some of trim and fittings that could be easily removed were taken off.

Paint readings were taken which showed healthy amount of paint, a good percentage of the car had been resprayed at some point and some panel's were lacquered whilst other's were not.

The paint on this was solid and took a fair amount of work to achieve the results I did and was very slow going. As I mentioned earlier on some of the panels were lacquered whilst others were not so different combo's were used throughout the detail to achieve a safe level of correction. Some panels were corrected with rotary and wool pad/Scholl S3 whilst others were corrected with a DA and the Megs DA Microfiber System.

Some etching on the roof that took a fair amount of work to remove.

Once all the heavy compounding was complete I went around the car with Menz 203s and a polishing pad with the DA and then followed this up with Menz 106F on a finishing pad (I choose to use the DA as some panels were very sticky and grabby with the rotary).

Few shots after all the machine polishing stages were complete and paint given a IPA wipedown - Gloss and clarity restored!!!

Blackfire All Finish Paint Protection was applied by DA and left for several hours whilst we started on some of the small jobs such as polishing the exhausts, dressing the tyres and sealing the wheels.

All shuts were lightly machine polished and then topped with Werkstat Prime

Moving on to the interior - All interior surfaces were cleaned with a All Purpose Cleaner whilst the leather was cleaned using Raceglaze Leather Cleaner. The leather was then given a few coats of Raceglaze Leather Balm.

All the wood trim was prepped with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid and then a coat of Swissvax Wood Wax was applied. Interior britework was polished with Brillant Metal polishes and windows cleaned with 3M Glass Cleaner and lastly all seals treated with Swissvax Seal Feed

Brilliant work. Seriously, only a few will ever appreciate the amount of work that goes into a detail like that. Looks like a brand new car now.
