Gleaming Kleen - Ford Focus ST

    Owner of this had visited some family in Aberdeen and tried to book her car in with Polished Bliss whilst there but they was fully booked so they kindly passed on my details so must say a big thanks to them for the referral:thumb:

    This was done over 2 day and Process/Products used:

    WHEELS/TYRES
    - Wheels cleaned with Epsuma Revolution Wheel cleaner
    - Tyres cleaned with Megs Super Degreaser
    - Tyres dressed with Zaino Z16
    - Wheels sealed with Zaino AIO and Zaino CS

    WASH
    - Foam with AG Powermax 3
    - Washed with Megs Shampoo Plus and a lambswool washmit
    - Clayed using Sonus Green

    PAINT CORRECTION
    - Gloss It Evolution Cut on a Megs Polishing Pad
    - Refined with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Pro on a 3M Finishing Pad

    PROTECTION
    - Swissvax Divine

    Engine bay in need of a good clean, this was done with a Citrus Degreaser....

    then dressed with Aerospace 303.

    Rear Focus badge removed with some dental floss and a heat gun. Remaining adhesive removed with Tardis

    Few scratch's on bonnet required wetsanding, this was done with 3000 unigrit.

    Client requested brake calipers to be painted. (PAINT SUPPLIED BY CLIENT) Wheels were removed and calipers were cleaned/degreased with Bilt hamber Surfex HD and brake cleaner. Each caliper recieved 3 coats and this was with the aid of a heat gun to speed up drying between each coat. Whilst wheels were off inners were treated to Zaino AIO and Zaino CS

    They could of done being a slightly darker colour of blue IMO but still looks good:thumb:

    Great work! You really offer some extra stuff don't you, as far as the caliper painting and debadging.

    Beautiful finish. I'd like to know a little more about the car. I don't think it's available stateside like that.


    I love the area in which you live (if that's where you take the photos).

    its not where i live as detail was carried out at owners house..I live about 45 mins away

    That looks great, the calipers would look better body color but that isn't the worst color, they could have asked for yellow!

    Great Work!

    Too bad the Focus sucks here...

    that's the one car i wish ford would bring over to the states instead of our crapshack of a focus

    nice job on the detail! blue is my favorite color to detail for sure

    I think the classic Ford blue looks great on the calipers...
