The owner recently purchased this car and wanted some life brought back into the paintwork along with the interior being cleaned up. Upon inspection is it was clear a lot of the car had been resprayed at some point which wasn't the best of jobs. The paint was heavily swirled with lots of random deep scratches that I knew would require a fair amount of hours to remove as paint was rock solid so client opted to have a Minor Correction Detail carried out. This meant we would carry out a 2 stage machine polish and concentrate on just removing the swirls & light scratches and not chase out the deeper defects. Some of the deeper defects could have been safely removed whilst there was also a fair amount that wouldn't have been so it want wasnt worth compromising the level of clear coat in my opinion. The series of 3 photos below are from the roof to show what was removed and the random deep scratches that were left behind Before any correction work carried out... now looking much better after some correction work... and here is some of the random deep scratches that were left behind The rear bumper had a bit of damage that I knew could be greatly improved with a bit of wet sanding. Few other "before & after" shots from around the car. Pillars Few shots after the refining stages under different light sources The end result... (Blackfire All Finish Paint Protection was LSP) Thanks for taking the time to view this thread.
