Well I am in the market to buy one of these: Amazon.com: Metro Vacuum Vac N'Blo Compact Car Vacuum: Automotive but is the blowing feature on it good enough to blow water from cracks, engine, jambs, etc.? If not, I was just going to get this for now and wait on the metro vac n blow since i have a shop vac: Homelite Electric, Blower/Sweeper, 120/150 MPH Blower - UT42100 at The Home Depot TIA
it should be good enough. has an attachment to use it as a matress inflator. If you can get it, go for it. I heard they are excellent vacuums.
i know the vacuum part of it works brilliantly, but can the blower function of it do well enough to not get an electric leaf blower? i guess im asking those who have one, if you do, do you use the blowing function for the things im asking?
The Metro is awesome for blowing water out of cracks, jambs, etc. It has plenty of power to do that. The only thing I would recommend is to buy a second hose: use one for sucking and one for blowing :giggle: That way you don't accidentally shoot the car with debris that may have been trapped along the hose somewhere.
