I have had this foam gun for about a year now. The sprayer is kind of broken and it can be a pita to use sometimes. Does anyone know if I can just buy the sprayer that the canister attaches to instead of buying a whole new unit?

LOL well I won't be doing the DIY thing, I will just make it worse. I didn't think about talking to Gilmour which seems like the way to go, thanks.

are you talking about just the orange trigger sprayer?

all we do at the shop it hook up a quick connect to a shut off valve.

Yeah the trigger sprayer. Do you have a pic of your hook up?

i would believe this setup be like

[canister] [quick connect] [shut off valve]

    another way is

    [canister][hose]

so if u want to use a gun like trigger, buy another spray gun. it'll prob cost the same as a shut off valve. quick connect is a plus if you dont want to screw it in every time.

Thanks for the links Danny, but the trigger has a black piece in the front that you pull back to attach the canister. Then it clips in place. Kyo, thats the thing. I don't want to have to unscrew it all the time, when I clay a car I foam a panel, clay it and rinse it. If I had a shut off valve it would be a pain to remove it every time.

yep then what you need is the quick connect thing

    like this

if you can take a picture of the part, i can prob think of some ways to ghetto fix it without having to DIY a piece of metal plate lol

and also i believe the click front to canister is the quick connect so just finding a match end may work

    edit:
    and via some googling!

simply get a new quick connect end that matches the sprayer then you're golden
