was at home depot paint section and noticed they had gamma seal lids there, they also had white buckets too. i think they were like 6.37 each or something

I got mine cheaper than that but it was probably a couple of years ago. I still have them and can attest to them being perfectly fine even though they're cheaper and not from a detailing store.

Just stopped by one of my local HD's and no gamma lids there must be regional. Funny, it said it was in stores online.

    Dear Friends

I was in my local Home Depot here in Buford, Georgia, a couple of weeks ago and saw them in stock.

Now we need an inexpensive source for the dual-bucket dollies.

Actually, the ultimate wash bucket for me would be a single Griot's with two sections—one for clean wash water and one for rinsing.

That is the cheapest I've found a double dollie.
Btw, my Home Depot and Harbor Freight both have 5 gallon buckets. Maybe it is regional.

    Dear irontree & Friends

At the bottom of the page you linked to is a note: "Temporarily on backorder."

By "temporarily" they mean permanently. I spent about twenty minutes searching for this thing the other day and found it being offered by a plastics manufacturer/distributor for about US$64.95 plus shipping.

That's too much money for me.

I don't believe Griot's designed the actual bucket itself. US Plastic has the same bucket without the extras. But such a bucket with a single divider would be simple to make for someone who designs such pieces. If the idea of a two-bucket system catches fire, you can bet a simpler and more elegant solution will be forthcoming.

The one on Amazon is also marked unavailable.

It took me a good while the other day to find it, but I did. It was US$64.95 plus shipping.
