G|Techniq G1 - 8 Month Review This is my 8 month update for G|Techniq G1 Clear Vision Glass Coating. Product Information: Personal Notes: I applied this back in March of 2010. Application was simple, use the cotton pads to apply to the glass surface after cleaning well. I used G4 glass polish and that in itself is a wicked great product. But after application of one coat wait about 10 min and apply second coat, and I did a 3rd coat just for the heck of it on the front glass. I had a 15mL bottle and applied 3x coats to my front glass and 2x on my rear window and still had half a bottle left. The residue remover, G2, was used up but straight IPA will work (information from Rob at G|Tech). After 8 months of use it is an AMAZING product, the cost of 9 GBP (~$15) is not bad at all for this and shipping from the UK is pretty cheap for FedEx express. I would not have any reservation to recommend this product to anyone at all and would go as far to say everyone should use this. I say this as it really has helped viability in the rain, most of the time I do not need wipers, and when I do the wipers "wipe" much cleaner and have less issues with streaking or glare. After 8 moths the protection does not seem to be letting go at all, I have used Adams Glass Cleaner, AG Fast Glass, and 1z Glass Cleaner and have had no impact on the coating. Below are two videos taken today: Driving at 70 mph, with light/moderate rain. The coating works best at moderate to heavy rain as the drops of water have more mass to help move them out of the way but this video still shows how it works. First video not the best but second one really shows what G1 is all about. Feel free to ask any questions. YouTube - G|Tech G1 - 8 Months (1 of 2) YouTube - G|Tech G1 - 8 Months (2 of 2)
