I did this car a couple months back, (backed up on a lot of write ups). The customer was concerned with how much texture was on his car preventing it from having any kind of reflection at all. I used the 3 & 6 inch 3m Trizact to sand the entire car. Started with 1200 grit followed by 1500 and 3000 wet. From start to finish the car took me 7 long days straight. Enjoy the photos.

Thanks for the compliments. I feel like I work a lot better with the Beats not to mention my ears don't hurt after while I'm polishing.

Outstanding work, that was definitely a labor-intensive detail.

Incredibly thorough and painstakingly long, tedious work. My hats goes off to all involved. Top work.

That is some serious resto-detailing. Was that a respray or was that old original paint that needed alot of TLC. Just curious, but in either case, the car came out great.

Great job guys it looks amazing! Jimmy how its it that your using the Festool Shinex with the green power cord... I though only the UK version of the Shinex had the green power cord and the US version had the black, are you using a power convertor to run it if so which one? Also what wool pads did you use on this correction?

The wool pads look exactly like Lake Country Purple Foam Wool Pads to me.
Used them before, they work great.

Thank you. I had my Festool Shinex shipped to me from a friend out in the UK, I just replaced the 240 plug it came with to a 110 plug and it works just fine. The pads I used were Lake Country Purple Wool Pad 5.5, Megs Cutting Disc 5.5, LC Hydro Tech Tangerine, and a LC Black Pad.
