Now with my new white car coming, I no longer need so many waxes. Hell soon I may shrink my collection down to one or two. Anyway, I'd like to get $195 shipped firm. The tubs been used twice in it's life and they were THIN coats. BTW it smells delicious lol :applause2:

great wax the e-zyme, one of my fav's

get yourself some JW products dude for white

dont think you're going to gain much performance over the S5, but the sedan is the best looking shape for the E9X M3

what made a hobbiest detailer like yourself go for a white car?

Well they're clocking 0-60 in 4.1 for the car w/ Comp Pack and it's breaking into low, low 12's and high 11's with simple bolt ons...those are numbers the S5 could only dream about. I honestly don't know why I chose White. I guess it was just time for a change, nothing against black...I still think it's the best color to get a car in...just white looked better on the M3...easier to distinguish from its standard counterparts IMO.

alpine definitely suits the E9X, majority of the tuners went white on this model as it was huge when it was released

forget chasing power with an NA engine, it's a waste of time, been there done that with an M car, they are pretty much max'd from factory...unless you go for an FI kit

you have to put a set of the ADV monoblocks on it

I had an STi and do know the tuning potential of FI. Now I've lived through the S5 V8 and for a time thought that doing any sort of go fast mods is worthless, but I've been reading a lot about mods for this car and though it's nothing like COBB Stage two for your car a gain in 30 RWHP will be noticeable. I do realize that NA cars pretty much have no room to work with, with the exception of the C63 and a few others, but Pulley, X Pipe (10-15 rwhp), Tune, RPI Scoops, and a filter should add some pretty decent power. Hell us cars guys will mod regardless, right?

Anway, as P1et mentioned prolly just gonna paint the Comp wheels as they do look great. I just wanna get the damn thing already :afro:

    hahahaha exactly!!

the Remus sounds really good on the E9X, and its also one of the cheapest.... score!

re mod'ing FI, this is actually my first FI car. You can imagine my shock when i put it on the dyno after miltek y-pipe, sunline racing exhaust and drop-in hks filters and gained 40 hp at all four wheels without a tune

i havent dont the cobb tune yet, but id love too. Would pick up another 60-70hp at the wheels on our 98 RON fuel.....but the warranty issue will keep me up at night

good idea painting the comp wheels, that is a great looking wheel on the BMWs, matt black!!

Yes...I'd have gone for the GT-R, but I'm not gonna lie the warranty and service costs had me scared. I've loved that car since it first came out and deep down somewhere deep down I do envy yours . Thanks for the recommendation on the Remus, gonna go check it out.

hahaha the reason i bought the GTR and retired my E46 M3 Cab as a daily is because the BMW was costing too much to maintain, things were needing replacing left right and center

it didnt like having coilovers for eg; i was chewing through oem top mount bushes every 6 months, not to mention having to contantly replace lower control arm bushes, rear suspension mounts etc etc vs my 350Z i had before it which i mod'd like crazy without fuss

so now its back to stock, and im contemplating whether to keep it or sell it off. With the GFC, used luxury cars have taken a real beating here

the GTR hasnt cost me anything yet, though there is still a fair bit of GTR tax in the aftermarket parts. The scheduled services arent really that expensive here in Aus.... the most expensive is around 2k and thats every 30k kms, which i wont even reach for a good 2 years

take up Ken's deal on that JW stuff. Acrylic sealants work extremely well on white paint, and post some pics!!
